VOLUNTEER AWARDS
M. Martha Koerber Volunteer of the Year Award winner for 2022- Diane Cummings
Diane began volunteering for Hunter Hospitality House in 2015. After learning the cleaning expectations for the houses, she quickly became a leader and has trained countless other cleaning volunteers. She has helped with numerous mailings, designed the volunteer brochure, and created & maintained the recycling program at the McLaren house. Diane is a monthly donor, participates in all fundraisers for HHH, and shares Facebook posts and press releases. Diane has been consistently dependable, relatable, innovative, kind, and incredibly important to Hunter Hospitality House and the guests who have stayed.
Paula Flynn Godwin Spirit of HHH Award winners for 2022- Colin and Lisa Miller
Colin and Lisa began cleaning as weekly volunteers at Hunter Hospitality House in 2015, taking a Sunday volunteer cleaning slot. They are a great example of what a couple can do in a community when you work together. When the Hunter Hospitality Family House was acquired, it was in need of MANY things and Colin offered his time and talents with some trim work as well as shopping for and donating the the needed supplies. Lisa has assisted HHH fundraising efforts by designing graphics for them over the years. This duo has worked on mailings, donated awesome Hope Blooms raffle prizes which have helped raise a lot of money for HHH. Also monthly donors, HHH has been spoiled by how well they take care of the houses and the guests who stay there. They have even been willing to fill in at less familiar houses in a pinch, when help was needed. Hunter Hospitality House is grateful and blessed to have a pair of supporters like the Millers.
