COVID-19 INFORMATION:
Hunter Hospitality House is again offering free lodging and amenities to those with loved ones receiving medical care or to those receiving treatment themselves. Utmost cautions will be in place out of concern for our guests, volunteers and employees. Some of the changes to expect in the current phase of reopening:
1) Each house will be occupied by just one family at a time.
Registrations will be done virtually whenever possible, and staff will work primarily off site.
2) Guests, volunteers and staff will have temperature checks and complete a brief health screening before entering the homes.
HHH will provide masks and gloves for staff and volunteers; masks will also be given to guests.
3) Volunteer house cleaners/staff will wait 1 day after a guest checks out to clean the home and change the rooms out. Guests will be encouraged to clean up after themselves during their stay and given access to proper cleaning supplies.
In the weeks and months ahead, as the threat from COVID-19 lessens, HHH will progress through more phases of the organization’s reopening plan.
Thank you and take care!
Also, if you are a ticket holder to our annual fundraising banquet, Hope Blooms, it has been rescheduled for Wednesday, August 26th due to the spread of COVID-19. Doors will open at 5pm, with buffet lines opening at 6pm. The program will end by 8pm. There are a limited number of tickets still available. If you have already purchased tickets, please hang on to those as they will still be used for the event. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling of this event and appreciate your understanding and support in this most unusual circumstance.
